Today’s post is a pretty big one for me (and not because it’s Valentine’s Day and once again, I’m a singleton).
If you’ve read my blog for some time, you’ve probably realised that I never really post pictures of my face and I keep my identity quite private. I included pictures that showed my face when I started this blog but then decided against this as I was finding who I am, in reality and on the blog. I guess that things just stayed that way after that.
But things are going to change from now on. I want to be able to confidently publish posts that include pictures of me because I think that I can do a lot more with my blog because of that and I think that all you readers will gain a better sense of me as a person and maybe, that will help you to connect with me better.
What’s brought this on, you say? Well, in Happy New Year! one of my resolutions was to tell more people about my blog. I have been sticking to that resolution and four of my best friends now know about my blog. When I started Train Of Idea, I was really worried that my friends would somehow find my little space on the web, work out that I was the author and judge me for it. Yet now, the people I want to know about my blog know about my blog and if anyone else I know found it, I am proud enough of my writing to not be embarrassed or ashamed. Plus, my sister has started her blog and I know that she wants to be able to publish photos of me.
I should clarify that this post doesn’t mean that I’m going to be publishing photos of myself all the time, but you will definitely see a lot more of me than you have done already! So, all that’s left to say is here’s to a new beginning for this blog and here I am…
